Our quality ice cream mix is sold to wholesalers and mobilers alike from Cumbria and Peterborough in the North to Stonehenge and South Wales. It is packaged in 5 litre plastic bottles and has a ten day shelf life after production. It should be stored in a fridge at 40c or less and can also be frozen for future use. Our soft mix can be relied upon to work in all ice cream machines and can be found on ice cream vans, in cafes and buffet style restaurants.
The quality of our soft mix reflects the fact that we have been established since 1886 and have had time over the years to refine our product. We have an excellent reputation throughout the North West for providing tasty, quality scoop and ice cream mix. We are members of Food NorthWest and the Ice Cream Alliance.
We are located in our own 10,000 sq. feet purpose built factory on the Bewsey Industrial Estate in Warrington. We have two large storage freezers and our own dairy where we produce ice cream. All materials, stores, consumables and commodities comply with manufacturers specifications.
In a random visit made by Warrington Borough Council we received a 4 stars ('very good') award for the quality of our premises in the manufacture and storage of food. As part of the weekly food sampling programme carried out by Warrington Borough Council and tested by Chester Microbiology Services we always achieve 'satisfactory' which is Grade 1 from a scale of 1 to 4, with 4 deemed as unacceptable. Without any reservations our plant and equipment meets the relevant statutory requirements.
